2009 Capital Coaches Conference

200-Plus Coaches

Sustain Success

of 2009 Conference

This year the numbers really added up as more than 200 coaching professionals from the Washington area and beyond explored "Coaching With Impact, Innovation and Integrity to Create Sustainability" with two coaching thought leaders and many other exciting speakers.

What participants got on June 5:

ONE top-notch keynote address:

Leadership and executive coaching pioneer Kevin Cashman gave us his take on The Art and Science of Executive Coaching: 11 Lessons Learned Over 30 Years.

ONE special featured speaker: Over our midday meal, internationally known speaker Michael Bungay Stanier, founder of  the company Box of Crayons, creatively told us Five Truths of Great Work.

TWO free books: Every conference participant received Kevin Cashman's Leadership From the Inside Out and Michael Bungay Stanier's Find Your Great Work! For those who didn't get their books, please e-mail info@icfmetrodc.com to let us know.

FIVE master coaching demos: We saw fishbowl coaching and follow-up discussions with five of our chapter's own MCCs.

NINE excellent breakout sessions: Conference-goers had tough choices to make among the five programs in the morning and the four in the afternoon.

FIFTEEN sponsors and vendors: These popular vendors had so much to offer throughout the day.

TWENTY-SIX books: So much great information was available for purchase at the conference book store.

TWO HUNDRED participants: More than 200 of coaching colleagues spent the day mixing, mingling and learning.

Congratulations on a great conference to chairs Judy Rodda and Kate Woytowich along with their fabulous supporting team!
